Geoff, I've been googling this one back and forth. I can't seem to find it anywhere. I can't even get the title. The most I was able to find out was that it was written in 1993... I'm still on it, though... |

Hmnnn ... interesting. I can find numerous references to the document, but not the document itself. I did find an interesting article about Laskin. |
Good question Geoff, thanks for asking it. I am interested in reading the code of ethics too. Just kidding here but if might read something like this: Rule number 1: Get the money up front. Rule number 2: Get the money up front. Rule number 3: Get the money up front..... Seriously though I am interested in this.
Words to live by.... |

I heard from Grit. I should have a copy sometime today. He told me that it was published in the Guitarmaker...about 1992. Dr. Byron Yasui, University of Hawaii ..bassist and ukulele, published an interesting piece on the responsibility of the luthier to the player. It was published in an early UGH (Ukulele Guild of Hawaii) newsletter. I'll try to dig that up today, as well. |

Geoff, did you ask Grit if you could post the copy on your web page? It would be good to be able to save a copy, if possible. |
